01

Journey Overview

India’s most rewarding contrast, composed as one journey.

The first chapter gives a concise but complete Golden Triangle; the second changes climate, food, architecture and pace in Kerala. Fort Kochi introduces centuries of maritime exchange, Munnar rises into tea country, Thekkady reveals spice cultivation and forest, and the backwaters close the route at water level.

The transition is made by air rather than an unnecessary overland journey. Within Kerala, private road travel follows the natural geography from coast to highlands and back to the lowlands, allowing the landscape itself to provide the narrative.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Chapter 1 — Delhi
Day 1

Day 1 — Arrive in Delhi — A Gentle Beginning

On Arrival

After baggage collection, your Delhi host meets you and confirms the practical details for the North-to-South India journey, including luggage handling and the first departure towards Agra, Rajasthan and the southern chapters.

Private Transfer

Transfer privately to a comfortable central Delhi base. The drive is intentionally left unscripted, allowing Delhi to register as an arrival rather than a compressed sightseeing session.

First Evening

After check-in, the remainder of the day is protected for sleep and adjustment. A brief neighbourhood introduction is added only when the flight timing and your energy support it.

Why This Pace Works

The opening day is intentionally light, leaving you rested for Delhi before the journey moves from Mughal India to tropical Kerala.
